H Dawson Wool, a well known UK wool export company has announced the appointment of Raymond Hardy as Managing Director of its wool trading business division based in Bradford.
Mr Hardy is an experienced business leader and has been involved in the wool trade for more than 36 years. He joined H Dawson Wool in 2005 as a wool trader and has travelled widely to work with customers and suppliers worldwide as well as sister company H Dawson New Zealand based in Christchurch.
Mr Hardy is a highly respected and knowledgeable wool expert, with excellent product knowledge and a natural instinct for identifying the latest business trends in the global wool industry. He began his career at Henry Cullingworth in 1975 as a sample room assistant and progressed to salesman before ultimately becoming Managing Director. He moved to Curtis Wool Direct in 2003 and joined H Dawson Wool in October 2005 as a wool trader and accepted the significant role of Managing Director in October 2011, a positive move that reflects the respect that he has gained amongst his peers within the H Dawson Group. A sound team player, Raymond is renowned for his comprehensive knowledge of trading wool, something that he is always willing to share.
