IWTO is facilitating the development of a wool industry vision and strategy. ‘It is important for the industry to be proactive in creating a successful future for wool collectively’, says Elizabeth van Delden Secretary General IWTO.

What will success look like for wool in 2025? What are wool’s collective risks? Wool’s collective opportunities? What do we need to do together to ensure long-term profitability?

‘At IWTO we invite you to join the wool industry’s leaders and experts as we make the inspired decisions which will move us forward together’, says Ms van Delden. A workshop will be held in Istanbul and is part of the Wool Round Table that will be held there on 23-24 November 2015.

‘We want to have input from as many wool industry members as possible. The vision and strategy is for the wool industry and should be developed by the wool industry’, she comments and encourages all to view and participate the prepared survey –

The process of developing such an industry vision and strategy consists of three parts:

1. Desktop research of existing data, research, forecasts and trends

2. Questionnaire of wool industry members and stakeholders

3. A Vision and Strategy Workshop to be held at the next Wool Round Table in Istanbul

Online registration for the Wool Round Table will open this week and we include a link with more information:
