The Piedmont company participates in Art 2.0 alongside Shima Seiki Italy, Epson Italy and Pantone® in promoting the successful collaboration between yarn, color and technology.

‘Having a preview of yarn in any chosen color and preferred process to be able to visualize the color rendering and aesthetic – with “Customize Your Yarn” this is possible’, says a company spokesperson.

The project, a result of an idea from Tollegno 1900 that has been developed in collaboration with Shima Seiki Italy, Epson Italy and Pantone. This will be presented at Pitti Immagine Filati 80 initiative later this month.

‘Simply select a yarn, a process and a dye color to see in real time the final result of that combination. The preview will then be sent by email or printed thanks to Epson Italian technologies in order to be “touched by hand”,’ he says.

“’Customize Your  Yarn’” explains Tollegno 1900, “is an art form 2.0 able to match the speed of technology and product quality to provide a preview of your choice in order to understand the actual yield. This is a useful service for the customer who can now concretely verify the ‘aesthetic’ value.”
